No prob, sometimes I'm too clever for my own good. What I meant was either get rid of people or accept the situation, there's really no other option.

Have you tried the mushroom tea approach?

Another off topic.
I think people can change.
It's rare, often requiring a near death experience.
Many years of very hard training in Gung Fu has definitly made a change in me.
Sure I am still George, but I attack life in a much different approach.

I talked to my lead singer and rhythm player last night and we're all taking a break. We have a gig tonight and tomorrow night and then that's it for a while. The singer and I are getting back together in a few weeks to write some new mat. with the rhy player. Honestly I would be happy not to ever see or play with my drummer and bassist ever again, I just want some fresh musicians/ears on my originals.
Thanks everybody for the replies, it looks like changing band members is the best thing for me right now. It just sucks that we've worked so hard in the past 2 years, but we really aren't that great, and don't have a following... probably because we don't play any covers  ....not my idea

We play BOTH covers and originals. I've known a bunch of cover bands that have originals and won't play any at their gigs for some stupid reason. We put 2-3 originals in per set. You still hold the crowd who has to hear something they know AND you get to see the reaction of people to stuff they don't know. They are live guinea pigs, why not take advantage of the situation and experiment a little...

Man I hate playing covers
May be cause I am not advanced enough to really do justice to stuff I like.
May be cause it does not satisfy my creative appetite.

At any rate best wishes.
