I never saw anything wrong with that song I always kind of liked it even though the words are a little cooky. I always thought Richard Harris sang it well especially for an actor.

Same here, I always thought this was under the "classics" category although I would never buy it. I was quite young when this was released and I had not realized why RH recorded only one song.
My highschool marching band played this for the concert portion of a half time show.
