We had finally gotten our first big gig as a new band. The band was "Coyote Moon"... a 70's variety rock band. We were playing "Cooperstown"..an ALice Cooper club / chain in Denver. In this particular set we did Sweet Home, Can't you See, and then A Zeppelin tune which all are in D,G, & A...so the transitions are easy, and the Leppelin song allows for our rhythm player to have a dramatic entrance with a fog machine, strobes, etc. He has a double neck SG (Like Jimmy Page)...to add to the authenticity....Well..he ran out on stage, went to hit the first "power" cord, and his guitar strap breaks, and his guitar lands ten feet in front of him....BLAMMO...(with the volume cranked) through his marshal and two PA towers...and then immediately begins the most ear cracking feedback ever.....Rather than the others in the band help him...we almost peed our pants with laughter...and (fortunately) the crowd enjoyed the site, and burst into laughter also...we recovered...started the song again, and still got a good response from our audience...Guess it was a "had to be there thing"... but musical slapstick is timeless
