I got hungry during the first few images, then lost my appetite through the rest...

But then it came back BIG time when I saw the cake.

I think I'll go heat up that ribeye now...

Many of the foods pictured are VERY HEALTHY depending on what blood type you are. I am on a blood type diet, and I firmly believe it has extended my life. Certain foods react negatively with certain blood types and causes your body to slowly develop food allergies as you grow older. I haven't done any research on the web but I go to a naturopathic doctor who helped save my life. Much of what I was eating was slowly killing me. Even though I am not 100% compliant to the diet I am sure it has greatly increased my good health. As far as you not being fatter, a lot of the foods pictured here are quite healthy. I encourage everybody to look into blood type dieting. You'd be amazed how many harmful foods we eat and don't know it...

I've been hearing about blood type specific diets Bob. Glad you mentioned that. Apples have fixed my reflux (I posted a thread a while back) and man am I grateful! I know sushi is good for me. I like a lot of different types of foods. Like I like and play many genres!

I'm glad the apples are still working.

There was some hellacious spices in some of those dishes.

I want to try your apple-thing out, but I can't afford enough apples right now. :-(

Yessir apples are still working 100%. I can even skip a day and be ok usually. I skipped yesterday and was fine until I drank some super stout pumpkin cappuccino this morning. It gave me a mild burn that went away soon. The caramel on the apples is not so healthy of course but it makes me eat 2 a day!! Then my stomach NEVER glitches. Turns it into a cast iron stomach like my old pappy (grandfather) had! Right now I have a kroger bag full of home grown apples from a guy at church. That sure helps cause yep they are expensive.

Certain foods are universally beneficial with all blood types. I can't remember which ones but I think apples are beneficial across the board. A lot of your food pictures contain various types of onions. I don't think anybody could eat enough of them. Most mornings I have three scrambled eggs (eggs are neutral for me) with sauteed onions cooked in olive oil. I swear if I start the day that way I feel great the rest of the day. Also garlic is incredibly beneficial, as well as green tea. The ancient Spartan warriors carried a poultice of garlic with them into battle to treat wounds. They didn't know that garlic kills all kinds of harmful bacteria, including cold bacterium. I'm not supposed to eat red meat, but my wife and son who are type O are supposed to eat organic red meat. My best source of protein (type A blood) is sardines and salmon. I eat about five cans of sardines a week. My favorite brands are Season and Reese Sardines packed in water. I prefer the skinless and boneless variety. I can't stand oily sardines or ones packed in mustard or tomato sauce (YUCK). I try and have a baked salmon dinner at least twice a month, very heart healthy for type A blood. The worst part of the blood type diet for me is that some of my all time favorite foods I'm supposed to avoid completely. I used to devour bananas. They are a no-no for me. About six months ago I had one for the first time in about two years. I started passing gas almost immediately. My body over many years has developed an allergy to bananas. Another no-no for me is corn and especially popcorn, my all time favorite snack food. I simply have to stay away from corn products. Peppers are also off limit, as well as dairy products and wheat (gluten). I used to sit down and eat an entire package of cracker barrel cheese. Can't do it any more.

lamb curry - I'm such an indian food junky. and the last picture of that cake is encouraging bad-habits - the old lick the plate when no one's looking habit. don't deny it. ;)

oh, and Bob. I'm a carnivore's carnivore blood type. My wife and I read about the blood type diet about 2 years ago. She has a book on that. Interesting stuff.

I've looked into that blood type diet, too, bob. I dunno if it's bunk or not, but it is suspicious when it says to me that brocolli is good for me, but cauliflower is bad...I'm sorry, but that makes zero sense to me.

I, too. am type O.

The theory makes perfect sense, but the application is a bit fuzzy to me.

Nice Paul! I'm a foodie my self, I just made my patented Key Lime Cheese Pie last night and ate half of it. It has half of the cholesterol as regular key lime pie. Here's the recipe:

1/2 cup fresh squeezed Key lime juice
1/2 a package (4 oz) of cream cheese
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks

Beat the egg yolks and cream cheese until smooth; add the milk and combine. Add the juice and beat for two minutes. Pour batter into a graham cracker crust and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Cool for an hour and serve with freshly whipped cream and raspberrries. Yum!

Sweet Phil, you must try this then. It's not as rich as regular KLP and it's got a better texture than regular cheese cake. The best of both worlds!

LOL!!!

I found out about carbs about 10 years ago and lost from 209 to 170 and stayed there for several years. 170 is too skinny for me though. I like 180. I got way up there again, 218 actually:oops: , and decided to lose again. At about 190 I started cheating and have been at 190-195 for a few months.
