I thought her song was great but let me give you an example of hooks....Check my PROFILE! We just got signed because we were "hookin" all over the place....

You need a good bridge with the pop in the song.

P.s. Those are demos and not the finished product though...they are still pretty good.

A1, I just listened to your stuff.

1st track was seattle stuff and nice sounding, but the vocals sound like that canadian band LIVE with the seattle sound.

= ecchh

Better sounding vocals would be better

Put the bottle down as the meat is not done yet, jr.

Yo Scott, did that in the basement. Thanks for the compliment with the sound though. Weare in the studio now with real mic's and a producer. Live? They sold over 7 million Cd's. I will take 1/14th of that.

Yeah but the vocal style doesn't lend itself to your Seattle style guitar.

Follow me?

You would be the first to say that....I must admit. IT is original and after a stellar track test by a major label we are in the studio doing a 6 song EP. It's a fusion of classic rock and melodic soul....Not supposed to be the same thing you hear out there. Trying the original thing. To each his own and appreciate the feedback.

Tell that to the Original Mindmelters..they had a decent tune, met a producer and went into the studio.

Long story short, they came out with the same tune, changed a little and now no one here has heard from them since.

The moral is : JUst because you are in the studio doesn't mean that someone has a great idea for your project.

I suggest you try a little harder to make the Seattle guitar sound mesh with the vocals, else you are just pitting one fighting sound vs another.

I bet you 15 bucks "Front Door" makes national airplay (the leads are not up yet but they make the song)..... 15 big buckkkks!

P.S. Are you talkiing about their song "One Last Drink"? Wow man...NO COMPARISON! Not trying to blow my own flute but if they are better then us I will blow my head off with a BB gun.

Yeah I think this guy is really confused. ...Comparing us to a Punk Band and Live? I swear this is the first person to say a negative thing about our "sound"..not to say the words "mix quality" have not been used in a negative connotation. We realize Basement mixes usually lack the the luster of the final product.

Can I borrow your BB gun Kung Fu? I am going to Canada to get "Live"...or I mean York....or I mean...Seattle.

1) Couldn't care less where LIVE came from. (the vocals are not my cup o t)

2) A1, you're cooked. I am not being negative to you, I am handing you constructive criticism. Feel free to ignore it, maybe when someone else says it to you, you'll realize I was being honest with you.

If I wanted to be negative I'd say that your sound just sucks, period.

And your 15$ bet? I'll take it. I feel bad for you, as that tune is not to my liking. I think the first one has better potential. (BOHICA)

And since you seem like a dummy and trying to be a bit on the provocative side, I'll let you in on another truth. That original Mindmelters tune BEFORE they took it to the studio is better than what I have heard from you thus far AND I don't like punk.

i.e. Should I send you my address so you can send me your 15$? And how many decades do I have to wait to get it? Plenty of yes men out there, not many people will give you the straight poop. Now you just wear it like, you like to smear it on your face ...

"The Sound of your vocals does not mesh with the sound of your guitar".

Like Jim Croce and what's left of Nirvana, but not as talented.

sound = fail

How do ya like me now, you buffoon?

Your deaf dude....How is the sound quality on your track? Please send address....You will be paying me 15. 150 track testers heard both songs and we got an average of 13 out of 15 rating from industry professionls. I am willing to go with the pro's on this one. Yes men? I am paying for my EP so I stay in control and yes its expensive. When we are done the risk factor will be lessened for a record company to sign us...Thanks for the feedback....fix that sound quality Scott.
