So, while I'm not opposed at all to musical instruments in church, I don't think Neanderpaul's church is wrong for not wanting that temptation in their services.
Muslims don't think it is wrong to cover their women from head to toe in cloth for the same reason. Some asians don't think it is wrong to bind the feet of their women, until they are deformed for the same reason. Some african cultures cut out a woman's clitoris for the same reason. All of these are designed to REMOVE TEMPTATION.
The answer is not looking at an inanimate object (musical instruments) as something wrong. If someone is playing out of vanity, that should be the responsibility of that individual and God, and maybe his Pastor, to recognize. Someone can sing just as vainly as they could play an instrument. Do you know how many people blame women themselves, for getting raped? Because they wore something TEMPTING.
Time to stop blaming the TEMPTOR and start holding the TEMPTED responsible for his own heart and his own actions.
Blaming musical instruments, or blaming music in church, or blaming women for getting raped...
Is any of that where the blame should really lay?

No, it's far worse than that.
The brand he belongs to is saying that THEY are right, and ALL THE REST OF CHRISTIANITY is wrong.
That's why they split from the other part of the Millerite Movement and started their own church brand.
The non instrument, and non committee church brand.
They are right and the REST OF CHRISTIANITY IS WRONG, otherwise they would have no need to form YET ANOTHER denomination of Christianity.
Poor Jesus.
One wonders just how many splits his church can bear, before it is so thinned out, that the pieces are just wisped away like strands of cotton in the air.
Imagine your family, and there is a rift. What usually happens? There are usually two sides, and some of the family falls on one side, and some on another, and there are the ones that try and stay out of it. Maybe there are at most, two to three sides. Now imagine your family splitting into 1000 pieces. 1000 sides generally finding discord and disagreement with 999 other sides.
Would a family be strengthened by being broken into 1000 pieces?
It is unlikely a religion will either.
