"Risin' inside me" continues to poke it's head into my musical memory. I'd really like to hear a studio version of that one. Tell Ray! I'll just be walkin' down the street, minding my own business when... BAM "FEEL THAT PAIN RISIN INSIDE ME!!!"

Wish I could have been there. Just another dull day in Paradise here.
I knew you were going to kick some major butt.
Maybe I'll make next years show.

Man I tell ya I am still hopped up ! ( tired but hopped )
I will def put up some links / info for next year. Be tre cool to have some of ya,ll come out.

LOL, yea Risin is a simple tune but a fav amounst our fans.
Ray n Tony caught some of them off guard at one show, I thought they were gonna stroke out when the boys yelled out that first line.

Last night Steve-o and Floyd did stellar jobs on their solos on Risin
And I managed to pick the beat back up on time for a change.

Funny thing about our name, Ray gets called up to explain it all the time.
On our first set I was on stage turning on my amp when the MC said "next we have NOISY KUNG FU with a name like that you have to wonder what kind of music they do. I yelled out ROCK N ROLL with my V in the air. LOL

At our second set though the MC announced us

" We've got NOISY KUNG FUUU IN THE HOUSE !!! " Crowd went nuts.
:D YEA BABY !!!!

Sounds like you had fun, the crowd had fun and the mc had fun!

You cant ask for much more than that.

Glad your gig went good!

Rock On Brother!

John, was encouragement like this:
Like I said loosen up and go with it, have fun and make a joyful noise to God and you will be fine.
That made it work for me, thanks to you and the rest of my psycho musician support group! :D

That was an exciting assessment of the event you gave!

And good pics too.

Did you bring the Zoom and record it all?

I want to hear it!!!!!

Congrats on a great gig, the great compliments and breaking down walls and barriers!!! That last part made me especially proud of you guys!!!

Did you get video? Audio?

I'm sure there are plenty of people here, myself included, that could mix it all into a video for you guys, if you need any help!

Sorry Craig.
With the uncertanty of the sound thing and the weather I chose to leave my Zoom and Video Cam at home.
And unfortunatly my loyal family members only took pictures of us. :(
I need to find myself an amiture shutter bug with no better sense that shoot a bunch of pictures for free. 8)
I wonder if the local college photo / AV club could be conned into doing it?

I told you that there was nothing to worry about. You guys are pros now. I'm hearing really good things on the music you post here, I could only imagine how good you sound live. The main thing is that all those other musicians who got to hear you are going to give some great PR. It sounds like you made a rainy day turn out to be quite sunny...

Ain't it great when a plan comes together?

Good going, sans!

Looks like a wonderful time was had by all, & you were a pivotal part of the action.

Thanks for your support Bob & Phil.
I feel we were a pivotal part of the event. Though there were a lot of quality acts for their specific genre'. We did our best to befriend and estabish networking with them. I know it is only natural to get the big head doing this kind of thing. When people you have never met pull you aside to tell you how "awsome" your show was, you cannot help but take some pride in what you and your brothers have done.
( I pray my pride does not become a stumbling block - its got to be about the MESSAGE not me )
Was my performance mistake free? Not hardly. But I feel we have turned a corner as a band. And that feels good ! LOL
I have spent most of today cleaning / reorganising our equipment and researching expense for power amps subs and speakers so we could pull off an event this size mano a mano.
Some day perhaps. 8)
