irminsul: tom york (or however you spell it) ya know, I loved radioheads one commercial success (I'll let you guess), and didn't much care for them after otherwise, but then my good friend hubie (as he often does) kept playing them for me whenever we were hangin out... as with most of my fav music - I don't care for it at first. radio head is a musically talented group... mostly york. They really have grown on me.
Zito: donald fagon... I hear that name a lot. what is his schtick?
Jacquee Rae -you got a bunch I don't know.
Jar72034 -I loved the movie 'big fish'. One of my fav of all time. The band is pretty cool too(only hear 1 or 2 songs and a while ago).
V&B - right on as usual.
Guitarzan6000, Instigator, Lady Rocker, jamiemgd, fisherman bob, AphoticDepths, gopher: thank you everyone for posting so many great singers. There are quite a few I didn't know before and I will make attempts to listen to every one.

If you don't know by my post by now, I have a pretty eclectic taste in music.
Oh and I just have to say on the Elton John , gopher, the best ever was listening him on the Tammy Wynette tribute album sing Stand By Your Man!! LMAO! You are absolutely right though, any genre he can master and his range is impeccable.
