go to my profile and listen to 'I hope it suits you', not really 'new' - wrote/recorded it back in or around 2000. Interested in any comments - good or bad welcome.

I like the other ones better. This seems like so much of that 80's style that seemed overdone to me in the 80's. (Yes, I know I have no taste cuz I actually perferred new wave to the rock I heard in that decade!)

Excellent lead, though. Vocals are much better on this too. I like the beginning & the end, how they echo & tie stuff together so well, but the center section with the chunky chordings & drum style don't make it for me. Odd rhythm guitar effects for the tune, maybe? I dunno.

It's played & sung well, but I'm prolly not the guy you need to hear from on this kinda thing...LOL

Oh, OK, found it uploaded here on Bandmix. Thought it was only on your myspace, must've been the way I read your post.
Good song, reminds me of "soft punk" with the chord progressions, but it's too melodic and the instruments are in tune, so it can't be punk. :) And the lead sounds too good and makes too much sense to be punk. I like the talking vocal at the end too.

No offense, but I could predict every chord that was coming up next. You got a pretty plain generic sound going there.

Just my opinion...Just trying to help :P

hey ryan, thanks for the comments... yeah there's not really any key modulation there! it's just 4 or 5 chords thru-out.

perhaps I should have considered something to spice it up a bit.
thanks for your thoughts.

Very clean guitar sound...even though it ain't my style, you'v got your sh¡t together! I don't know why, but I always thought you were more of a progressive metal guitarist.... I gotta stat goin' to peoples profile more often!

Still.... sounds good and well thought out!

hey thanks crip. afa style... I'm all over the place. No 2 songs on my myspace page would fit in the sm vein. I'm not a big fan of metal anymore, but again this was written/recorded in 2000.

again, thank you very much for taking the time! I appreciate everyone's comments.

I like it Mike, found it a tad long for general listening but for something you would play live I think it would work well. Liked the little change ups too.
Liked the talkover as well, though that and the lead vox could be a little more out front for those of us whom are gunshot deaf.
Got to hear Punkass today (finally)
Good job all around Mike.
