Karaoke replaced alot of live venues. This may do something similar, or it may just take the place of Karaoke in places it already exists?
But John,
You are right. You have to find a way to adapt, no matter what new thing comes along. And if someone's band is bringing the people, that's all the club cares about at the end of the day. You'll get work somewhere.
But there is one particular benefit of these games that I have noticed. Kids are learning the classics. They know the words now to alot of Henrix and Zeppelin, AC/DC and many, many others. It is helping foster a surge in interest in Classic Rock and other genres.
I think that is a GOOD thing.
