lol sans.. the 80's was just a different time, big hair, big everything.

Aimee Mann was a stellar singer, and effective bassist. Til Tuesday captured the essence of the 80's with one song, something most bands never accomplished.

Outside of that, it was also their only real hit- They failed to grasp that essence and repeat it, although Aimee was never about the "hit" songs. She always considered herself an alternative and progressive (versus mainstream) artist and was well sought after for recording and songwriting. She was also noted for singing backup vocals in the Rush song "Time stand still" and making a cameo in the video (around 1986).
