hello...i have been a bandmix member for quite some time..it is a great way to meet musicians..i am currently in a band with my son called liquid-fire band in nashu, nh.. i am also the bass and keyboard player..i have been battling prostrate cancer since april this year, just found out i need radiation now, but i am doing good....i have had such good care fromthe american cancer society and st.joseph's hospital, that i decided to pay back abd have a bands for a cure concert to benefit the acs relay for life, and also the hospital i was in for a month..i have brought in 4 other groups along with our band on oct.17th...i am writing this because i know a lot of bands get asked to do a lot of charity work, i was lucky to find good local boston talent that also believes in a worthy cause..i also had a lot of bands aske for a ridiculous price just to play for an hour so if any of you ever get asked to donate your time, think about the impact it will have on you fan base as well as the publicity you will get for doing something good...tnx for listening.....tom...liquid-fire band
