You don't expect much, do ya?

LOL

Well, I gotta say that I'm inspired to stay outta cell block one at Ellis.

Does that help?

It is a troubling song, for sure. Hit me in places I'd rather not go...

Thanks. Mike.

It dont take much to inspire me to stay out of a cage.
I hate bars that dont serve beer.
One short trip to the pokey was more than enough lesson for me.
The song was well written and performedand I enjoyed it on that level.
I just got this thing, being redneck n all.
Cant do the time, dont do the crime, cause stupid hurts.

I have this saying: "I don't believe in the electric chair... I believe in the electric bleacher."

meaning: I really oscillate back and forth on the issue... my biggest hang up is the cases where they've proven -after the fact- that the guy was innocent... if it can happen to one man then it could happen to anyone - I can't wrestle with that.

I also have read that sodium penethol(spelling) has been banned for use on animals! I've read that it burns like fire, but the patient is paralyzed so we see it as a calm painless act.

I know if my brother were the victim I'd want to kill the criminal... but I also know I wouldn't be able to give a rational perspective in that case.

anywho, thanks for entertaining my thoughts.

I remember that bleacher comment.
Man is not perfect so our justice system will never be perfect.
There was an east Texas man recently released after 20 or so years in prison for a rape he did not commit.
I cannot even imagine his anguish.
Yet everyone whom is murdered, did not commit the crime either.
Yes, difficult questions, very difficult.

Still agood song, thanks for that.
