Yeah Crip, you do ROCK! :D We wanna hear some un-distorted live sound-clips of you and the band soon tho! Settin' up a recorder at a gig with at least 1 mic aint that hard to do. You dont even have to go thru the board. I never did. Also it's a good critiquing tool for hearing the band afterwards with a new ear. And it's really fun listening too!

How the heck did he do that?????

It's a simple trick I learned from a guy on a laser forum. You see a smiley that u like somewhere, right click on it, hit 'properties' copy and paste the properties to where you want it, highlight it, then press the 'Img' button. funz!
I cant believe Crip didnt have a comment about that smiley tho. :? :P

Heehee.... Oh I do like the smiley but next time I'd prefer the real thing!

Yeah the vids that you see on my profile were done with a stupid little cheap digicam that my wife brought down.... Don't do the sound justice but you get the jist of the fun we have! Those guys are not my band, I was just asked to do this gig as a favor for the singers b/day party! The singer sang in 4 bands before us that night and honesly sounded like crap by the time we got on but we had fun....we were the main act...we were the one's that got paid!

Sorry... haven't been here in quite some time due to personal and professional tedious tasks concerning, family, job and music! Did get to take time out to have another awesome gig last night which was recorded professionally so when I acquire the finished product, I will post up! I've been working feverishly with my new band: MUGSY which will be out by end of October or early November... No effin' around with these guys.... real pro... once we're ready, we've got professional backing and we are set up to play large venues which also entails me having to buy more cabinets and another head... geez... I'm gonna be broke! In the meantime, I'm always asked to do guest spots for bands and I gladly accept and always regret it later because it takes me away from the job at hand as I've always gotta figure out new tunes that I've never played before but graciously accept as these are awesome friends and I can't turn them down...BTW... The new Les Paul sounds awesome.. Here's a few pics from the gig last nite:

AHhhhh, if there was only some sound to accompany these pics (doesn't have to be pro-sound, just un-distorted)..
Good pix tho, Crip. Enjoyed 'em.

Like I said in my earlier post, This time we hired a professional videographer and the finished product will be done in a couple of weeks... Cost mucho$$ but 10 people chipped in and I'll finally be able to have a decent vid with decent sound to show! One setback though... It was for a friends birthday and he wanted to do the whole night with us and brought up some friends so let me be the first to say, many a fukkup was made by him and his friends as they don't do this professionally so I have to be careful of which vid I choose to post up!

Crip , did you change the tuners on that PAUL?

No, why do you ask? This Paul comes with the locking tuners which I love! The only thing I did to this was spend about 3 days adjusting the bridge and stuff trying to get this to play easier.. They set it up so freakin' hard, it was like playing my acoustic onstage! I think I have it right this time... a little buzz but not noticeable enough to hear live. I tried to make the strings as close as possible to the fretboard and raised up the tail to release some of the tension... plays a lot easier now... Instead of Guitar Center having their techs set up my Paul like they did with the last 2, they had the stupid salesman set it up... what a freakin' moron!

Yeah , in the end it is best if you learn how to set up your own guitar. I was curious about the tuners because Gibson seems to be changing things, maybe for the better.
I jammed with some folks that were tuned down a 1/2 step and all the guits sounded like crap. They just didn't understand basic guitar set up. Keep playing Crip talk to you soon. Glen. P.S. Hope you and your wonderful family are all well.

Yup.... We tune down a 1/2 step in my new band now and, if anything, it makes the tension even softer.... I'm liking it!

I like tuning down too. It gives metal an even grungier sound
