No problem 420, I applaud the fact that you're interested in these topics and encourage you to learn more. I have spent most of my life studying the origin of the universe and life. If you read "On The Origin Of Species" then I would advise you read one of Ernst Mayr's books. Most are difficult to read but one of his last, simply titled "Evolution", is actually a pretty easy read. I did not really understand evolution until I read Mayr.

Chippy, just because we are small does not make us insignificant. But it is humbling to look at the Milky Way, and then to realize it is just one of billions of galaxies. The new telescopes that will be coming online in a few years will allow us to see back in time to just millions of years after the Big Bang. It's an exciting time to be alive.
