Ok, I need to master these better. Didn't come out as I had hoped, and I just ran out of time to remix them. But you'll get the idea.

"FREEDOM"

"THE WISHIN' WELL"

You can listen to them HERE:

http://www.myspace.com/craigmaximamericana

While you listen to the songs, you can click "Lyrics" on the music player, without disrupting the songs.

Let me know if you like them.

Thanks everyone!

AWESOME, absolutely love the dig at "The Boss." I've never been much of a fan of "The Boss." Maybe you'll get sued putting in that reference. Great idea for P.R. A lawsuit brought by "The Boss" would bring you priceless exposure. Craig, you're the best I've ever heard at this genre. I can't imagine that you won't be a superstar in the music world someday.

Bob,

Your comments are too generous brother, but thank you so much! A comment like that keeps me believing! I thought everyone would at least like "The Wishin' Well" but the silence is kind of deafening. LOL

So Bob, I know from your comments that you dug "Freedom". What about "The Wishin' Well"? It's a pretty good blues number, I was hopin' that one would be right up your alley! :-)

I'm asking, cause Kansas has a great blues scene, and one of these days, I'm hoping your gonna get on a stage there with me and throw down some bass on that tune!

Craig, it's ALL good. When your tour hits the Kansas City area I'd love to open for you. Then we could jam with each other.

CHIPPY,

I get what you are saying. I have some REALLY emotional and powerful stuff on the way. I've had to prioritize, and put out relevant and accessible stuff for now. I have some deep and moving songs, and when I clear my plate off a little more, I will be able to record them and put them up. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

RG,

Thanks so much for the compliments. I would love to play any state fair. Are you booking me? LOL

I'm very hopeful that some things will break before long. I have a feeling something big happens before 6 months time. I have also been encouraged at all the international support. Many european countries, baltic states, all kinds of places, and they all seem to dig my songs, and end up leaving very rewarding comments, telling me I have big fans in the U.K. now, etc... When the music crosses borders easily, that is a really good thing!

I have someone who is going to translate some new originals into Spanish for me, and another girl who is going to translate some songs into Danish for me. So, I need to work on my International MySpace soon. But my mom is also wanting me to get some of my spiritual songs (and hers... she is a top rate songwriter and singer) worked out, so I can get that MySpace going as well.

I've got my hands full. :-)

Here's my mom's MySpace:

http://www.myspace.com/junemaxim

The songs posted are from a country album she did about, wow, maybe 15 or 20 years ago? She wrote all the songs and is singing them.

But she writes all kinds of stuff. She's been writing alot of Christian/Spiritual music lately, and wants me to help put some backing tracks to them for her. So, I'll be working on that too soon.

But check her out. She's really talented.

Craig:

I had my wife to listen to your new tunes. She liked your music before the break up.
Now she loves it!!
She was very impressed with FREEDOM.
Not surprising to me at all .

Just thought you'd like to know.

GOD SPEED
