I do a lot of finger drumming and air guitar work with my left hand to aid in flexability. I also pop my knuckles quite a lot. Years and years of pounding on boards and bags, doing finger tip push-ups etc. would have greatly reduced the flexability of my hands if I had not been taught how to properly stretch each finger , the fingers as groups and especially the wrist.
