I'm looking to get an auto wah. The best one I've heard so far is a Mad Professor Snow White.

Unfortunately it costs $350.. Is there any of the lower level AWs that have a natural sound? I seem to be hearing a lot of synth filter type sounds and that's not what I'm looking for.

I have an env filter on my digitech - it's ok.

I've played the boss one - didn't like it.

I built a modified Electro Harmonics Dr Q and I really like it.

If you are looking for a env filter that sounds like a 'reggae wah' - it's about the best I've heard. I think I have a sound sample on my profile if you want to hear it.

I've also heard good things about the snow white... but for $350 - I'd buy a vintage cry baby or an mu tron.
