Thanks, I never think of looking stuff up like you just did! How interesting though, that both of them are fish and James Blunt's birthday is 2 days away from my husband's birthday. They are both prolific songwriters and I love them both. It's interesting that they are the same sun sign and I happen to gravitate to both. Plus, Pisces are so compatible to Cancers. So, do you think there's a connection between the artists we like and our sun signs? That would take a little investigating and I don't know if it's worth the time. Besides, would it change anything we think? I'm going to buy their music, no matter what. Again J, thanks and hello Bekki !

And Tessa, it is weird that they are both so close in their birth date and have similar sun signs.

Yeah I don't know as far as looking into just people you like simply because you seem to have the same problem that I do, we like so many people!!LOL! We'd be researching forever, but I can say that I think once I develop an on stage presence or style that I think it would be neat to research artists with similar characteristics to see if we are the same sign. I laughed so hard and go so excited when I was at the Nickelback concert and Chad Kroeger was like I'm a Scorpio, can't u tell?!?! LOL! I was like Rock on! Scorps rule! hehehehe

You are right, either I Like it or I don't, their music that is, doesn't matter if they are Aquarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Geminis, so on and on.

So, as a Cancer, I think this music thing is a natural environment for me. Are there some signs that are more likely to be musicians and artists? Is that a characteristic or what?

Actually that is what I was hoping to achieve by this post. But it looks like there is a variety of sun signs that have responded. So I guess it won't be that simple. I could very easily get caught up in what sign is a vocalist, what sign migrates toward each individual instrument, but I won't let me do that right now. LOL!

Depends, Tessa. I'm an Aries so I go for all the pyrotechnics and drama I'd rather see a KISS show than have to sit through The Cowboy Junkies.

Cowboy Junkies are this really downbeat, sort of twisted country-ish act. They are really good, just a bit morose. I think they've been around for almost 20 years. They are dressed down, don't really do a "show". Just the ticket if you want to listen to some sweet slit-your-wrist in a warm bath kind of thing. But if you want a real show, fuggedaboutit.

Yes, Tessa, as a Scorpio I am naturally a researcher and I like to find all the answers and get to the bottom of anything and everything that sparks an interest in me, but that can be incredibly time consuming.
