NEXT 3 GIGS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER

Ok.... had my first and only rehearsal with this new band "Terror Garden" last night! Each member was picked from some of the busiest bands in my area! We rocked the freakin' studio! Gonna be an awesome show and if it gets good reception, we will book other dates! This was gonna be just a one time thing but we ll just meshed perfectly and agreed to take this to a higher level. On a lower note though.... waaayyyy too much bull sh¡tting going on and we only had 2 hours to get 12 of these songs down perfectly... We were only able to get to 7 of them and are keeping our fingers crossed that we'll all know what the hell we are doing when we do the show next Sat.!

Gawd.... I hope we pull this one off as it's gonna be packed!

Sounds like the pressure's on, Crip! You thrive on that stuff, so I know you'll do your part well. I only hope the other guys have the same high standards that you do.

Hey crip, what theaters you talking about? Sorry I hate bars, I hate playing bars, I hate seeing great bands playing in bars.Kind of limits my options ,huh.
I guess I'm just to old.
Islip opened and shut again,2 flights up and down to load in and on stage.
patchouge seems cool ,1100 seats and great sound system,easy loading.
Any way keep practicing, its the only way to Carnegie hall.

I guess I mean I would rather see a great band and shell out some money than watch a great band struggle to play in less than ideal conditions.
And yes, you have to be very carefull about anything you write up here, it can turn nasty real quick.

I hear ya, Glen... Haven't been around much because Im currently learning some serious tough stuff for a new Cover/Original project with former members of "Swift Kick" and "Outrage". These guys don't fuk around! They gave me 5 cover tunes to learn and I gotta have them down perfectly... The singer is actually also an actor who appeared in quite a few films! They all took time out of their busy lives to come see me perform They didn't care about the band, the music, the crowd, just to observe me... they actually wrote things down and had someone take vids of me! The pressure is seriously on as I really, really really want this! Here are the songs they want me to perfect... They all require dropping down a 1/2 step and 4 are in drop D:

1. Stillborn - Black Label Society
2. Slither - Velvet Revolver
3. Prayer - Disturbed
4. Dogman - King's X
5. Dam That River - Alice in Chains

I've perfected 4 of these already within a week and 1/2

"Prayer" is gonna be tough one cause that's way out of my style of playing... going to have to really sink my teeth into this one!

Also got asked from a top Indie recording artists if I would be his guitarist while he tours the tri-state area.. He just got back from a full blown tour of New Zealand and Australia and actually asked me to do that tour with him but I had to decline due to the fact I have a family and a job

Check this guy out.... He's a little mellow for me but he's making mega-bucks on his album sales!
