I have this old Keyboard but it feels really nice to play. There are no midi outputs on this thing but read somewhere that you could convert the existing jack or something or other, maybe that's hogwash but is it possible please?

Cheers

I don't think it's worth the trouble. Audio to MIDI conversion doesn't work very well, and a real MIDI conversion kit plus the work to install it would cost a lot more than a new MIDI keyboard

But yea, it can be done

Chippy,
I agree with RG 100%.
A new Yamaha MM6 is a lot of music production work station for about $600. If that's beyond your budget, there are a bunch of older MIDI synths on EBay that can be had for pennies on the dollar. Much preferable then screwing around trying to make a silk purse outa' a sow's ear.
