Thanks J, yeah I know all about bum gigs. It does happen, but lately our singer just acts like he would rather not be there. He does a great job and more than carrys his part of the show, but when he shows up he talks about how bad he feels, then he talks about how bad hes going to jurt tomorrow. It just kind of puts a negative slant on things.

Today is day 3 of rock school. Yesterday in bass class we played Whole Lotta Love and Blitzkreig Bop. They were jamming out for a while. Then we let them talk about music. They actually liked a lot of the same stuff that I like. That was suprising.

I also manage a band in this school. There are 5 girls in the band. Yesterday a couple of them held a miny revolt cause they didnt understand or like the song that one of the singers had written. We get an hr and a half in a practice room to run thru the songs. This is a trip for me to watch how they put together their music and interact with each other. I think that I and the other band manager got our group to calm down and get it back together. I guess we will find out today.

Sat night there is a performance showcase where all the bands play their song live. Today we have to work on rock moves!

This must be really rewarding... and fun too.

You're doin' a good thing brother.

Most people let video games raise their children these days. This is some one on one time, where they are learning they could actually develop some skill and creativity if they spend a little time at it.
