Yeah, I like science fiction, the TV channel and the entertainment genre. I do more TV than movie, but I do want to see District 9.

I'm a huge Ghost Hunters and GHI fan. Anyone watch that stuff on SyFy?

haha, sorry, I just can't keep up with the acronyms, anymore!

No, I don't watch these shows. I'm more into the Stargate series. I love that show for its mixture of humor and fiction.

You gotta love McKay

Yeah, I don't watch much on SyFy myself... They kind of turned me off when they butchered Frank Herbert's Dune with that appalling miniseries... Ugh.

My guilty pleasure lately has been Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America. I love it because it's not a reality game show - it's just reality. Businesses in trouble, and he comes in there to help try and fix it. And it's just so funny watching these business owners, or the chefs, be totally resistant to his ideas - even though by all accounts their business is failing because of their own bad ideas and poor judgment!

It's kind of fun watching Ramsey fix those places up though. He's a heck of a chef and businessman.

Yes Chippy, I am an absolute Sci-Fi nerd. My favorite channel is the SyFy channel in fact I am watching it right now I am watching Eureka. I guess it is because I grew up watching the space race in the 60's and watched on my 12 inch black & white t.v. as man landed on the moon 5 times and the greatest failure Apollo 13. By the way I love science fact also. The original Star Trek and all the Star Trek's, Stargate SG1 and all that kind of stuff!

Damn there are a lot of geeks on here lol. I'm more of a nerd myself.

Speaking of the 60's, there were some cool shows then; The Invaders, Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea were classics. Can't forget The Prisoner, not really sci fi but cool in a British warped way.

I grew up loving Star Trek and Lost in Space, and I like the movies of them, but never really got into the newer series. As far as SciFi movies, one of my favorites was "Enemy Mine". nanu nanu, ya'll. :)

SG1 isn't the only Stargate Series: there's SG1, SGA and SGU (coming this fall).

I got into SGA first and I prefer SGA over SG1, though.

The concept of the Wraiths (SGA) is pretty neat :P

I like some of it. Some, not so much.

I DO watch a lot of the "SyFy" channel, but I HATE the new name, cuz it seems like they're catering to idiots who don't understand where the genre nic comes from.Long live illiteracy!

Flookers!
