FIRST OFF FOR ALL OF YOU BM PEOPLE THAT WENT CRAZY WHEN I USED THE TERM....MORONS.....PLEASE TRY TO FORGIVE ME....I JUST VENTED MY THOUGHTS AND YES....I COULD HAVE USED ALLOT MORE TACT.......!

TO ANSWER SOME OF YOUR COMMENTS :
1 I DON'T DO DRUGS....DID UM 25 YEARS AGO BUT NO MORE OF THAT FOR ME.

2 I HAVE EARNED MY SEAT IN THE MUSIC WORLD AND YA I BECAME SOMEWHAT OF A MONSTER GUITARIST....BUT WHEN ANYONE ASK QUESTIONS I WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO SHARE ALL SECRETES....WHAT KIND OF GEAR I USE....MELODIC SONG STRUCTURE WITH COMPOSITION AND I WILL SHOW ANYONE GUITARS LICKS I USE, JUST AS BETTER PLAYERS SHOWED ME.

3 HTV IS A STREET LEVEL BAND.....PAST MONEY I MADE WAS WHEN I WORKED FOR GOLD RECORD ARTIST AND I TOOK THAT BREAD AND PUT IT BACK INTO MY OWN MUSIC.

4 I LIKE WRITING IN CAPITOL LETTERS NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING.....I AM JUST LAZY AND IT SAVES TIME....NO BIGGY

5 SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLANE TO ME WHY OUT OF 65 DRUMMERS IN A 50 MILE RADIOUS ONLY 2 PUT THEIR PHONE NUMBERS IN THEIR DESCRIPTIONS.....ARE WE NOT HERE TO FIND OTHER MUSICIANS. AS YOU ALL KNOW, IT IS TOUGH TO FIND GOOD PLAYERS....SO WHY NOT STICK YOUR NUMBER IN THERE....MAYBE YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT....MAYBE I SHOULD TAKE MY NUMBER OUT NOW THAT I HAVE FOUND THE PEOPLE I NEED....SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLANE THAT PART TO ME.

6 MOST IMPORTANT....I AM ONE OF THE BIGGEST MORONS I KNOW....BUT I WILL NEVER GROW UP AND ALWAYS KEEP THE LITTLE KID INSIDE OF ME....YOU MUST ADMIT.....THEIR IS ALLOT OF FUNNY S..T HAPPENS IN ROCK MUSIC.

Now...that was much better....so I can now sympathize with you. So here is what I suggest you do....if you see a drummer you would like to contact, but has no contact info on his profile...post a thread to him...let him know you are trying to reach him....I know you SHOULDN'T have to go to that means to contact him, but if it works, you have your answer.

Some people don't know they can sneak in their contact info into their profile because they aren't paying members...they may fear getting booted from the site...so they play it safe. A lot of members make their board name the same as their contact name on email or myspace...again...extra work for you...but if they are a good drummer, it might be worth it.

Sorry about the harsh reply earlier...couldn't help myself....you made it too easy...LOL

It's ok to flame me, after you shake my hand.
Welcome to the board.

I am not a professional musician. I am an amiture, maybe even still a newbe in comparison to most my Bandmix peers.

I come here to learn and expand my musical horizons.
It's a lot easier to take advice or hear criticism when I'm not reachin for my S&W. :D

Whether you feel like you are or not you are still yelling. I bit my tongue and was biding my time after your first and second post to see how much of an egotard you were going to be. I don't do this here or anywhere else. You are a classic case of plenty of technical talent and not enough taste or song writing talent. Your songs are boring and dated. You were singing the praises of your bass player. Holy nutty. On metamorphosis from :42 - 1:30 he rides the same note. a perfect bass player.... if this was 1984 and you were looking for a Michael Anthony ripoff. Basically you came on so cocky I had to give you a reality check. You are seriously dated. Yes instrumentals can be killer, heavy and not boring cliched from the eighties. Here are some example of stuff that are all of that and came out in 93 and 95. Both of these sound more modern than your stuff and are tasty and not boring! I'm never this hard on people. especially here. You just came on so arrogant.

Well we all have different opinions and that's a good thing. The 2 songs you posted I did not care for.....they stayed in the same grove for the whole song....also it was entry level stuff.....

On the other side your first song on your BM I liked....it has a fun vibe to it......the solo section is minor penotonic rock lics which I still use but very little of.....there are so many other places to go on a fretboard......but that is just my thoughts.

I am not hear to put you down and if you can not except my appology that is what you chose to hold on to.

BTW...I grew up in the 60s not the 80s and my hart lies with bands like the Beatles and Hendrix, today I like Satriani. Is Satriani old and dated like you say my stuff is ?....I get lots of Satriani commits about my playing style and BTW....Satch and I are the same age and he is doing just fine.

I did take the time to listen to your music on YT and you do have some cool songs but I feel the same about your style as you do mine....I am so sick of drop tunings that I hear that and just want put a rope around my neck....to me that is dated and so over-done.....and that being said at least you and I have something in common..... we don't care for each others music....and that is OK. But when it is all said and done it's realy just a matter of taste.....it's art....not everyone likes the same thing

Posting your e-mail to a website is dumb enough by itself (it will get scraped by 'bots and you'll end up on tons of spam lists). But posting your phone number on the internet is even more stupid; it's just about the dumbest thing you can do. There are a lot of reasons, but mostly what it comes down to is that it makes you an instant target for automated telemarketing and it gives people a crucial piece of information for identity theft. If you want to go for the trifecta, post your address and your mother's maiden name while you're at it. See how long you go before strange charges start showing up on your credit card statement.

If you want to find other musicians and contact them, Bandmix provides that service. You pay the subscription fee and you are free to contact all the people you want (via Bandmix, which uses e-mail). This provides you with the service you want, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY it provides everyone else with the anonymity and protection that they desire and deserve.

The internet is not a safe place. If you haven't figured that out yet, you're the moron.

Smart people will do everything possible to safeguard their identity and information. And that means not posting things like phone numbers.

Next time you want to come here yelling about how stupid we all are, you might want to do an IQ check on yourself first. Because from what I've seen so far - you don't have a clue.

To debbie and Airviking....Debbie thanks allot, I did not think of posting a thread to someone with no contact info....that is so simple I missed it... so thanks !

To Viking you can go to my web site and read about where I grew up and which bands I like. Today I listen to Satriani, Eric Johnson and guys like them. My main amps are 30 year old Mesa Boggie Mark IIIs and I only play PRS Custom 24 guitars. All of the HTV CD is recorded live with single takes on each songs....by design.

Oh yeah, I am the last guy you want to talk to about record deals...never had one and they are scary....when you get close to one get an attourney. The atrist I used to work for had gold records and some of them sold the rights to # 1 hits so they now have to play concerts to make a livings and most of these cats are in their 60s.

X I just don't know how to take you! I'm sure you get frustrated and need to vent just like the rest of us. The people on this site and forum are all class act's IMO and should be treated with respect; you seem to working toward that now.

If you'll take the time to check out some of Neanderpaul's work on you tube, you'll find that he is an exceptional talent. Also to my knowledge he has never had a foul word for anyone on this forum before you!

If you need to vent, and have established yourself as a valid member of the community here (yes it is that) then We Can take It. and (I think I can speak for most on here) are quite willing to if it will help a fellow artist.

Now I will say Welcome to bM!

It is funny how fragile and thin skin us musicians are...me being one to. Some of you guys can be ruthless.....but I did want to chime in and say thanks !....Now you guys got me so nervous that I to now took down my phone number and email address....it never occured to me about the ID theift stuff.....I am a bit naive.

As to the rest of you that can't except my appology......well now that is your baggage to hang onto....I am letting it go now....ya may want to do the same................or not !....it's up to you.
