Like I said in his previous thread, GuitarX actually called me up and we had a congenial, down to earth conversation. Let me try to put into words what Guitar X is saying, perhaps in a more diplomatic way. If you want to get into a band it would behoove you to post all available means to communicate with you, and that includes your phone number. I've tried to contact numerous people and given them my phone number and very few ever call me back. I've gotten e-mails and text messages from some individuals who NEVER call me or return my phone calls. It's like they are living in some kind of cyber dream world. I want to hear somebody talk. I want to talk to somebody directly. Reading the printed word or reading a text message DOESN'T GET THE JOB DONE OF FORMING BANDS. That's what the frustration of Guitar X is all about. There's one person in particular in K.C. who constantly sends me e-mails and text messages, but REFUSES TO CALL ME. I know I intimidate some people but be BRAVE AND CALL ME. I'm not going to bite your head off. If somebody doesn't call me I am NOT GOING TO GET TOGETHER WITH YOU AND JAM, EVER. You don't form a band in your own weird make believe world in front of your computer. You form bands by COMMUNICATING, first on the phone, then IN PERSON. Either sh*t or get off the commode. Later...
