There is one person who I think should DEFINITELY be on the set list. I'm not sure you were around when Mikey was around Chippy. But he is a phenomenal guitar player!!!

Here's a link to his account:

http://www.bandmix.com/mike-gentry/

I know he's not a recent Bandmixer. But his past presence should be noted. He works hard on his music and doesn't get on the internet all that much anymore.

Hey thanks Shredd. There were a few that were missed too (You being one of them) I just pulled what I could find quickly together.

Pretty neat stuff he plays! I like his style too where he puts (SAMPLE) in there which explains everything in one word.

Thanks Shredd, keep rocking Dude :D

Mike is a great player.

Hummm we need to look up Craig too!
Craig had sent me some music for the CD I had made from the Bandmix players. Very good stuff that.

Since this thread was brought to my attention I thought I might throw in my 25 cents worth (inflation, ya know).

If anybody has the balls to steal one of my songs and makes a profit on it, by all means, do so....so I can hire a lawyer, submit a law suit, and get a great deal of attention in the process. Every song I have either posted on the net or in my private collection have my copyrights on them; I am protected by law. I write songs to share them; not to keep them in a notebook tucked away for my kids to find when I'm dead and gone. So I record half-ass recordings, upload them to sites, make them so they are not downloadable and hope that somebody notices me...or rather my music. I've been down the "Nashville" route...it's a brutal business and if you don't have a perfect body, breast implants, and a perfect ass...you aren't artist material. It didn't used to be that way; hell, look at some of the big name old timers who made it big...Willie Nelson (one ugly mofo) Bob Dylan (not so pretty either, plus his vocals were always a little off)....and now look at the big name artists who have made it with songs that are complete crap....what do they have that other great musicians and singers don't have..."the American Idol image".

At 47 and to be signed as an artist I would have to have a tummy tuck, ass lift, breast implants and a face lift. I'm not concerned about being in the spot light; I simply want my music heard and it would be cool to have them professionally recorded at some point before my voice goes on the downward slide just like every other part of my anatomy.

The bottom line is..in my "who gives a sh*t" opinion is music is a gift that should be shared...and that's what I'm trying to do. I know I have sellable songs...radio friendly...and meaningful. I write from the soul...but that comes from the era in which I was born into; when music meant something and you could feel the emotion in each word of the song.

Ok, I think I exceeded 25 cents worth...I'm upping it to 50 cents...

Everything anyone hears from me is partial, half assed, not mastered and to those who don't know how? Not downloadable. There is a very good reason for this too.

Equally/and however I am a total realist. I don't allude to the glamorous highway of being a pop star, I never count my chickens (Please don't ask) and don't play my instruments with a fever and a sickle.
