Yes.
Debbie, I love you.
Want to get married?
.
Hey, best wishes finding good bandmates out there in Michican.
I listened to a couple songs on your page.
Good songs.
Don't let anyone tell you different.
You'd probably make a good core for a group; it's a LOT of work.
Have you got a MySpace page, yet?
I know a lot of musicians, but I don't think many of them are from michigan, or I could steer a few in your direction . . .
Stop in, sometime.
In the mean time - get out in public as much as you can, and pass out cards . . .
.
I'm still listening, and pleased w/ what I'm hearing.
Deb, shortly, the pirhanna here may start nitpicking. Ignore them, and know this: you can make a living at music. You'd do well in CT.
Keep writing and recording . . .
Best wishes.

I am who I am; thanks for the proposal but I'm trying to break that habit.
Yes, I have a myspace account...think it's posted in my sig. line.
I've been doing this a lot of years; mostly for the enjoyment and often
wondered if actually doing it as a "job" would burn me out. I guess I
won't know until if and when I get that chance.

I'm not worried about the nitpickers; I've survived three horrible
marriages, raised three kids on my own, worked sh*t jobs, and am
now dealing with a brain tumor. There is very little they could say to
me that wouldn't come back to bite them on the ass. I'd rather enjoy
the challenge in fact, so let me cut myself and draw blood and see
if the piranha are brave enough to try to bite through this thick skin.

In case I didn't post my myspace link here it is: http://www.myspace.com/debbiestrangemusic

Oh, they're brave enough, alright.
:)
Debbie, you said, " . . . I've been doing this a lot of years; mostly for the enjoyment and often wondered if actually doing it as a "job" would burn me out. I guess I won't know until if and when I get that chance."
.
But we all make and take our own chances huh?
What is (and what is not) - a chance - is often just a matter of perception.
.
What I'm saying is that you already have a great chance.
Your chance is here and now, not tomorrow . . .
.
. . . how far you want to pursue your existing chance is up to you.
It depends upon how much you really want to do it.
Maybe you really do - maybe you really don't.
But, maybe you don't want to wait too much longer to make your final decision; . . . dunno . . .
.
Instead of you looking for a chance to work with someone else, how about thinking of it in the light of YOU offering someone else the chance to work with you?
. . . a backup vocalist, or a 2nd guitar or something . . .
.
Anyway, glad you're thinking about it, that's all.

I would really, really love to have another guitarist and singer...that's one of the main reasons I'm on here is to find somebody wanting to do the same type of music and play small gigs here and there. That is my ultimate goal...so, I continue my search...
