It's been said here that lyrics without melodies don't mean much. I must agree. So I won't post what I wrote tonight. I will however say. MAN I JUST WROTE A GREAT SONG! You know the kind that writes itself in just 20 or so minutes. The kind that really hits YOUR buttons as an artist. Man that feels good. It's been a little too long. With the tour and all I had been focusing on refining what I have. I write parts usually. Sit on them for a month or years. Then work them out later. This one just happened. Man it feels good!

Just an anti-rant. A rave I reckon. :D

It will be a live looping performance video posted to youtube before long. 8)

Looking forward to hearing it!
Being the contrary person I am, I must disagree! Lyrics are lyrics and they mean something if they say something. Even ooh baby baby means something, er, to someone, not necessarily me, but they do! I much prefer a storyline to "ooh baby baby" but all I'm saying is, lyrics are lyrics and if you ad melodies to them all the better, but I'll read them either way ^.-

Awesome Paul, those usually end up being the best songs. But lyrics without melodies are just poems, which of course mean something to at least one person.

I'll play the role of "groupie" since I'm coming into the thread a little late... :D Congrats on the song! I'm looking forward to it.

Can I lick your hair Paul? My cat considers this of the highest acclaim.

Chippy, I had an old OLD cat lick my freshly shaved head and man! That felt good! Cat's tongues are freaky!

I know what you mean Paul (about the song and the cat tongue).
I love it when the universe gives me a song. :D
The feeling is incredible. I can understand why prolific songwrites sometimes get to think too much of themselves.
Good thing I am so humble. 8)

That's EXACTLY it! We didn't invent rhythms melodies and harmonies. We are just lucky enough to recognize and arrange them. 8)
