Boy you guys get it all exciting all ways don't you.
They say Lightening here for tomorrow and I hope so, its humid, horrible, boring, ghastly, do nothing, brain draining, dismal.....

You get the picture.

The light show in my backyard last night was one of the top 10 Ive ever seen . No lights again for hours . It interupted aa real good practice going on for our gig tonight at the Art Shack .

And its another day in Paradise !!!

At last we had a bit of a show late last night.
However this morning we are back to the dull Gray stuff.

Chippy did you say you had snow last night? It is going to be 98 degrees today with a heat index (combined temp and humidity level) of 110 all this weekend. We have a gig indoors tonight and Sundays gig is on the Kemah Boardwalk in that 110 heat

92 and windy lots o sun today.
Humidity is fearce after the rains we got.

Shrooms must be in the wind here? Bloody humid and now sunny. We'll pay for this.

And now, back to the weather.

Helluva storm came through yesterday. Knocked my electricity out at 2 p.m. and it just came back on at 7:15 this morning. No TV, no internet, no electric amplifier...I was going crazy. Then I remembered my Digitech BP80 bass effects pedal and checked it out and, sure enough, it runs on batteries and I had just bought a 12 pack of double A's the day before. Loaded it up, plugged in the headphones, and could jam around on bass with the internal drum patterns. That helped me get through the evening until bedtime. Well, that and a couple of shots of Evan Williams.

Thats making the best of a bad situation ratsass, kinda reminds me of when Ike came thru and tore the hell out of everything here in Houston all I can say is thank god for acoustic guitars and 1792 (Kentucky top shelf bourbon) I stocked up when Ike was threatening. LOL

I like the way y'all think.
