Hey, what happened to the ex-Dream Theatre guy?

The songs that he gave me to learn were real crazy and more in the vain of serious old, old metal.... He also had another lead guitarist in the band and I was in no way playing 2nd fiddle no matter what. Glad I didn't spend all that time learning those tunes which would've taken me months to learn cause he's only played one gig so far and the place was freakin' dead He's gotta get into the new millenium if he's planning on making it big... the stuff definitely sounded like it came straight from the early 80's. He will make it eventually with the right producer and manager, but it's gonna take a loooong looong time and I really don't see the other members having that much patience as they are all spectacular and they'll definitely get picked up by a busier act eventually.

True... if you're in a classic cover band like I am... but putting your own stuff out that noone's ever heard and having 6 minute instrumentals just isn't gonna fly over here... Honestly... The place was freakin dead.....crickets! These guys put soo much time and money into this project only to get a crappy club gig that pays by the amount of peeps that show up! So far, they've been together for about a year and have only done one freakin' gig and it was a washout! If I'm doing that, I'd definitely advertise the hell out of it and mix it with some covers!

Andragon, I dont know where you ripped that track from dead or alive but dont insult me with passing that off as you touring band. Your first track,accapella was actually very good. But when you start passing stuff off like that , you lose credability. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY YEARS THESE GREAT GUITARISTS, ON THIS SITE ALONE, HAVE SPENT PRACTICING????? Yes Andrew has been forthrite in telling us where he is and what he is doing. To my knowledge he has not misrepresented himself.
I and other members have pushed him pretty hard to post "something" so we can be part of his growth. Much as we had done with GA and others.

These are my vocals on the track. Everything else is from a backing track I found a while ago.
You misunderstood it from the title, eh? Well, the reason I put "real guitars" in the title, because before that I had a backing track with MIDI guitars and to be honest it sounded like shit, but it did the job for the time.
