Hope things go well with the music J, I remember your posting not long ago about a vacation, and it might be just the thing to do right now. Also hope things go well with your mother.

I've taken my uncle to the hospital twice in the past 2 weeks. They don't know what's wrong yet, just that he has advanced emphysema and all his joints are inflamed. He couldn't push the button on the door of my Jeep, I had to open it from inside, he almost fell down the steps going back in and stumbles a lot. He had a leg amputated years ago as a result of polio at age 2, he tried for years and finally found a doctor that agreed it needed to go. He has been much better off since, and you can't tell by watching him walk that he has an artificial leg, no limp at all.

I'm not sure what will happen, he and I have been making a meager living doing carpenter work the past 3 years, this shut the work down entirely. Mostly trim work and some remodeling, but in addition to that this area is dead, no work at all, especially after the local paper mill closed and dumped 500 people into the job market. Right now if I had the money I'd jump in the Jeep and go somewhere else...

Sorry to hear about your Uncle Pete. As far as the work situation in this country I am very frustrated at where the service industry, manufacturing industry, and construction industry are headed in this country. It is like this country is being stolen by the very people that made it happen. It kind of makes me think that maybe Ross Perot was right about that tremendous sucking sound LOL. What I am really sick of is being called a racist for expecting people to obey the laws of this great nation. On one hand you have the illegal immigrants and their sympathizers exploiting the economy that legal citizens have sacrificed so much for, and on the other hand you have the business lobbyist that want to exploit their labor and the blue collar worker is stuck somewhere in limbo. With a hypocrisy that boggles an intelligent persons mind and using our own constitution against us. The liberals are allowing this to happen. It has not affected them yet. TAKE NOTICE LIBERALS YOUR JOB IS NEXT.

George I spent the evening with her. My sister spends the day while I am at work and then I come in and take over. They did not run the scope thru her mouth and into the lung like they said they were going to. The radiologist said that they were going to do a biopsy instead going thru her chest with a needle and then they didn't do that. My mom called me when I got home saying good news the radiologist are saying they may not have to do anything at all. Well I told my mom and sister. Mom may not have 6 months to come back and Xray again and compare. It may be to late at that point. Those frikken Dr. are guessing based on statistics. I am going to make sure they make the right decisions because what the HELL have they got to lose. I told my mom this is your life we are talking about. You must be your own advocate. My moms, mom died of lung cancer at 79 so the way I see it we may be significantly extending her life those DR.'s do not see it that way to them it is just an experiment.

Stay with it J. You know you mom is at choice. She can tell the physicians what she wants done.
Help her to get as much info as she can so she can make a truly informed decision.

My mom just went and had a biopsy on Wednesday. Hasn't got the results back yet but it sure knocked her down. They kept her up there for about 8 hours even though they only actually worked on her for half that time at most. She's sore from the biopsy and is having trouble holding food down. I think a lot of that is from sitting up there worrying while waiting for them to do something. I'm sure they charged her insurance for the whole time she was there.

And more Ratsass ! We're getting the bills now from Jeanettes auto crash.
There are charges in there for FULL BODY CT and EKG.
NEVER HAPPENED !! Damn theaves. Oh my God just wait till they all work for and are protected by the govenment.

Just got word that the biopsy was inconclusive and they are going to have to schedule another one, this time with a better doctor. Why didn't they have him do it the first time? Doctors = Earn while you learn.

Oh do not talk bills from thin air.

My mother's 1st op was a triple bypass.

While under they took x-rays of her jaw and pulled out a tooth that was really nothing more than a post etc.

The dr. then tells her that he really didn't need to remove that tooth, but it's ok now.

Then 6 months later he tries to send her an extra bill for 600$ for removing a tooth that didn't really need to come out. (nice job dr. asshole)

She told him that she'd like to cut something off of him.

He sent her to collections over it./

The moral of the story is always keep a blood thirsty lawyer around where you can utilize his services in a blink of an eye.
