When I attempt or practice tapping I use my middle finger.
Looks like I'm flippin off my Les Paul. :lol:

When I'm playing power chords with my left hand, my middle finger sticks out and it looks like I'm flipping everyone off. Imagine, if you will, my self-consciousness when playing Sunday morning with the Worship band. :shock: :roll: :wink:

personally I like credit cards ;) how bout that for all around smart, though after around 10 hours of use (give or take) they tend to break, or I'll rescue picks from the floor in bars, or friends couches, occasionally liberate a few from the guitar shop, y'know beg borrow steal scrounge

Thats really funny to me Ratsass. I have the same problem. We were playing a set for a youth group when our B/U vocalist noticed it.
I did not think he was going to stop laughing long enough to finish the set.
Now I try to keep a little bend in that finger, but sometimes :lol:
