Trying out a new guitarist this weekend. Found him on Bandmix (aguitarsupreme). Wish us luck on this one. Maybe I'm too fussy about lead guitar. Looking forward to jamming. We've got some possible gigs coming up quick so adding somebody soon is important. We certainly have the vocals in place. That's usually the hard nut to crack, but we're vocal rich for sure. There's another guitarist who's also an agent. He's been hard to pin down for a definite rehearsal time, so I'm not sure he'd work out anyway. We'll see what happens....

Yeah, & tell 'im it's a "dress rehearsal" right after he gets there. Then you could see how well he works under pressure!

Hope he works out for ya, bob.

Oh man, I wish had videotaped every audition we ever had. I could have sent some of those to America's Funniest Videos. One time we were auditioning lead singers and this guy shows up and knocks on my front door. I said come on in and he enters with his "manager" right behind him. These two guys are FILTHY and I smell them as soon as they enter my house. I mean they hadn't taken a bath in weeks. Anyway they come walking in and the "manager" (Professor Silverhair) introduces Smok'in Timmy Smith (not his real name). The singer comes running into the room, trips, and falls flat on his face. These two clowns came on a motorcycle and were smoking pot all the way to my house. I just start laughing my ass off. Turns out the guy was actually one of the better singers who auditioned (we had about twenty of them). Too bad his hygiene wasn't up to snuff. I ended up remaining the lead singer (as usual) and we hired a harmonica player who turned out to be the best singer who didn't audition as a singer. You never know how things are going to work out...

What with singer and the funk.

My guy can get rough at times, but he carries the show so I dont worry about it!

Maybe we should have hired the guy on condition that he be fumigated.
