I,ve decided to stp looking for a nursing job that will fit with my familys schedule.

Wow! a real entrepreneur!

I drop picks everywhere.

Last night we practiced and I opened the guitar case I brought and didnt have any picks. Our bassist andy had a bunch around his studio that I had dropped. I looked everywhere and couldnt find a pick, I guess folks that came thru there picked them up. I wound up using a dime. After a couple of songs I couldnt tell the difference.

I guess my technique is that bad that I can use a dime and not tell the difference. I dont give a dime!

My biggest frustration is sitting down to practice then reaching over to where I thought my pick was supposed to be ... I solved that frustration by going to the music store, purchased a case of picks and scattered about 50 in every room.

My wife complains about picks everywhere, but I'm quite content, which is all that matters ^.^

Usually if you cant find a pick you can get oneoutof the bottom of the cloths washer.
Never fails at my place.
I think my washer eats socks and shits pics.

I'm pretty late on this, and the thread looks like it's been derailed already, but. . .

I use Dunlop Tortex 1.0 or 1.14 generally. If I had a picture of myself playing where my hand wasn't a blur, I'd put it up, but everyone that takes pictures of me must have bad timing I guess. I use my middle finger and thumb to hold the pick (So I don't accidentally swallow my pick while I'm tapping =P) and I do angle it, and I rest my fingers lol Not that I'm a fast player or anything.

Repress speed up the shutter speed on the camera and it will eliminate the blur. We take around 200 pictures a show, out of those there are ussually some good keepers in the lot.

I would encourage anyone playing to get as many pictures of you playing as possible.

I still like still shoots over video, a lot of those YouTube videos playing are awful, I discourage doing that unless you have something that really looks and sounds good. You may only have one chance to impress a viewer dont blow it with an awful out of tune video.

I have a few short vid clips of us playing recorded on a phone. They are fun to watch, but I would not put these in public.

Funny thing about most of my pics, I am most always in some kind of wide kung fu-ish position while playing. Looks strange as hell to me.
