Great guitar playing.
Now for the brutal part. I have a hard time hearing the music because of all of the reverb / effects (what are you using?)

I'd like to hear less echoey effect and more you!

Other than that.
GJ.

I think the overall mix deteriorates when you send someone an mp3, they record their part with it and send it back as mp3 as they are recompressing the original part. But, hey, you're collaborating online with someone and that's fun and if a really great song comes about, then it's time to think about recording it right. I liked the first mix better just because I could understand the vocals better on it.

Ditto what Ratsass said:

Sounds like it could be a really good song. Ifn you get the mix right.
The compression that is required just to put it on your profile sometimes wreaks havock with your sound.

Thanks for the input (again) Y'all! :D --One correction - he (the vocalist) is "Claytooth" , The song is "Warmfeet" I think my orig post made it sound like his name was warmfeet .. ew.. OK - Well, yeah, ok -- he added the echos to his voice and he sent it to me in mp3. couldnt do much about that. Mp3 quality sucks I know. I got it bumped-up to the highest sample-rate. And it's Mp3pro (I don't know if that makes any diff or not. )

Wow, if I knew the 1st mix was better, I would have left it alone!

Thanks Sans, I'll try. (Probably in .wav format on a cd.)
-can't post .wav or .cda too many places on the i'net that I know of..

Claytooth (on the vocals) is using a huge amount of echo in certain parts of his vocal track..
I could maybe try to clean it up some but I'm finding that mastering a song track is a challenge.. I need to go to recording studio school for that I guess..

Thanks !

It is a little wet as far as effects on vocals, but maybe you wanted it like that.

A lot of cue-balls want clean vocals these days.

I reiterate, if that's the type of sound coming from your vocal track you want, sounds good to me.

I listened to WARM* quickly and it sounded a little like Clutch/Butthole Surfers...(sounds good to me)
