Thanks Chippy. But please have a listen at my site. My music is average at best in my view. But I feel I can play bass with anyone. Im just an average guitar player and drummer. But Thanks to the home recordings. My singing is better... Thats a whole nother thread... Thanks Chippy for the kind thoughts and words!

Unless you are a union electrician I dont think they will hire you. sorry.
But I have made up my mind. Im going to play live for 9 months. See what happens. I can always do the electrical thing if I starve. I ve do all this before. Just few years back... It was mind wrecking though. Thanks again!!

I passed up a possible job at GM for music...am I dumb or what? Passed up a lot of others, too.

Wished I'd have taken one of them at this point...

Best thing that ever happened to me was getting laid off from GM back in the day. Made me go to school, etc. But yeah I start at my new $32/hr job on the 26th so I'm gonna have to cut a couple of the bands I'm in.

I would feel bad if the job sucked.

Doesn't matter how much you get paid, if you don't like the work then you might as well be making minimum wage. Because the hours are going to feel the same.

cept of course, with a min-wage, you can't buy 1/2 the distractions you could with a full-wager to take your mind off your boring job!
