Nope, just poor.

I know the feeling... just got word last week from my boss that he's looking for a much less qualified person to replace me because he can' afford my salary or afford to keep me on for more than 3 days a week So much for 8 solid years of exceptional service for this guy.... no freakin' jobs out there so I might have to go to a business school for a completely different trade which means putting my music on hiatus for a few years

I'll try and cheer you up a little Crip.

I went to Hunter College... right up the road from me and got the curriculum that I would be following should I go that route! I've decided that should I end up on unemployment, I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I can receive the highest rate for 57 weeks.... during that time, I'm going to go to school for 7 months, full time, and get certification in : X-ray technician, EKG Tech and Phlebotomy! Guaranteed job placement and certification nation wide should I decide to take another test besides the NY Certification exam in the end! Gonna cost 12 grand for the schooling and I'm gonna take out a student loan... I might have a gentleman coming over tomorrow to buy my bike for 6 grand so that would also help during my education time! It's now a sit and wait for my boss to interview prospective employees and then lay me off so I can legally collect my unemployment. My wife, kids and family are backing me up on this and are hoping for the best as it's better than sitting around looking for work during my down time! I'm still gonna play but I know I won't be able to dedicate as much time as I really need to in order to keep my chops up... Oh well... In the long run, at least I'll be with a decent job
