Save your $, you already saw the best parts during the trailer and the worst part is that they save the star ship by using an old technique they used in earlier star treks. ... Yes, you guessed it, they ejected the warp cores..

Rent it on dvd/steal it off the internet/just don't pay 9$ to see it..

eww I feel like a 2 dollar hooker at rush hour..

I saw first contact in theaters years ago, was good, I don't remember how they got back in time, to post ww3 stable earth, but it was great to see the 'hero' of starfleet academy was just a hammered guy who wanted to get the hell off the nuclear wasteland

Tedlord I was watching it last night the Sci-Fi channel is having a Star Trek marathon it started last night and I think last all weekend, They are showing all the Star Treks.
The Enterprise E and Picard Follow the Borg thru a time warp that the Borg created to go back in time and stop Zephrin Cockran from completing the first Warp Drive mission where the Clingons take notice of Earth.
Unfortunately I have to gig this weekend and will have to miss probably the best episodes. :(

Oops it was the Vulcans that take notice of Earth, not the Klingons.

I like to twist around another Dr McCoy quote, bob.

"Dammit, Jim! I'm just a country bumpkin!"

Works real good around here, sometimes.

Hey!!! I am a Klingon...seriously  I belonged to a Klingon / Trekkie group. My Klingon name is M'krista Z'han. We went to hospitals, parades, schools etc to promote education. We were badasses. . At the conventions Klingons acted as security. That was back when I was thin and I could fit into a black spandex one piece suit. I had long curly hair and the bumpy head, which is cause by the Klingon's unique spine. It looped over to the front of the head. I just took a Star Trek quiz and missed 1 out of 19. Sorry, I am truly a nerd.

Shredd6, at one time I was a major Trekker, I won best costume at a Holloween costume party which turned out to be the day of Gene Roddenberry's death. That same year, I attended another costume party where there were 3 other ST characters, on was Borg. I went crazy at Star Trek The Experience when it was in Vegas. ANd now I hear that the new movie sucks? That is so freakin' un American. Crap! This is a good day to die!

The one negative about Star Trek (and I LOVE Star Trek) was that in almost every episode they were 1.3 milliseconds form being destoyed and were always saved at the last instance. I wish there could have been an episode where nothing really exciting happened. I imagine out in space there's quite a few planets where nothing dramatic goes on. It would have been nice to have an episode where Spock is beamed up to the Enterprise with a brown, polymorphic, malodorous substance and Captain Kirk asks him "Spock, what is it?" Spock replies "It's sh*t captain." "Whose sh*t is it, Spock?" asks Captain Kirk. "I have no fuc*king idea" replies Spock. THE END....

The Klingons are my favorite. They have the coolest looking weapons.

Now where is the logic in that? Spock would not pick up sh*t. Bones would pick up sh*t AND he would know whose sh*t it was. Spock would then have a quandary about the logic of picking up sh*t. Then he and Bones would get into a big argument, then there would be a flash of Captain Kirk in a threesome...To Be Continued.

Fisherman Bob, I understand your pain, man.

Klingons are indeed the rock stars of ST. At one of the costume competitions, some girl asked if I were some kind of rock star. I said "no, I'm a Klingon." She then replied " Same thing."
