Seems that after the election, the media is doing anything & everything to stir us up about something new, but this is just ridiculous at this point in time. Why oh WHY can't they just give us some NEWS & STICK TO THE FACTS?!?!?!?!?

the bird flu is in ten miles from my house quick docta vaccinate me puhlease!!!! the media haven't had to give us news for nearly 8 years, when they do report on a legitimate story its cuz they feel like it, FOX news won a case in 2001 saying that news doesn't have to report the facts and truth they can just entertain people..........and this is our blessed America!

Man, the entire world has really turned into a bunch of baby’s… yes it sucks puking for a few days, fever, cough etc… you get over it and move on….

People die from the flu every year…. mostly from the dehydration…. It sucks, but it happens. Suck it up people, get a 2 litre of 7-Up and some saltines, curl up on the bathroom floor with yer blanky and sweat it out….

Having read what some have said about this I'm now inclined to agree with notices on media here, but then I don't really like American Media, it's lop sided, one sided and mainly conjecture.

I still think this whole thing is different for whatever reason.

Viruses, well they are kind of like that. Because they cannot replicate on their own like bacterium, and are dependant on host RNA they rapidly mutate. They can become more virulent or just fade away.
The ebola is so virulent it self limits by killing its victims before they have much chance to spread it around. As is the Haunta virus of the American southwest. By contrast the various strains of HIV are weak sisters. Hence the Pandemic that is ignored for political and monitary gain. The only difference is that The HIV virons spread is "behavior related".
Yet it could just as easly mutate to be spread by droplet transmission.
Perhaps even airbourn like Legionairs or TB.

Sorry, I think they're just making too big of a deal out of this (to divert our attention from other more important topics) in order to better suit their (the politicians and govt) agendas.. (controlling the populus).. (again).. I mean, the flu (including the swine version) has been around before and we (well, most of us) have lived thru it..

1 box of saltines
1 bottle of rot-gut tequila
1 heavy cotton robe
1 sauna..

Eat the saltines,
drink the whole bottle of tequila
wear the robe
sweat it all out..

remember to use bathroom, not pool/sauna room... lol

repeat..

Lemon flavored Theraflu, hot water, 2 shots of Jack Daniels, Drink it down fast, get in bed under the blankets and sweat it out. Works like a charm.

I was on my way to work after dropping my boys off at school.
I started getting real hot, I am used to that due to Thyroid disease, but then freaking waves on nausia. UGH!

Been between the computer and the toilet ever since I got home.

No fever though, must be some GI bug, damn it. Just my second week at the new job.
