basic setup: I have my gtr going thru an mxr carbon copy and into an envelope filter I built. this is being picked up on an sm57 right in front of the speaker on my crate v18.

anywho, for those who asked for a sample of the sound of the pedals I've been building... here it is.

I couldn't tell much about the other different pedals sounds since the envelope was on the whole time. Maybe do that again without the envelope. I like the envelope, it just covered the other sounds too much. Oh, and I REALLY liked the Shizhouse Blues.

think i have the new recording up now...
still has env filter tho... but no clipping. (forgot to make it downloadable/listenable)

hehe, I can assure you it would have been hacker shorr weiss or grolsch but never budweizer!

no, I didn't use my pedals on that recording. hadn't even thought about making pedals back then -that was done back in 98 or so and it was just my dano u2 into my halfler t3 and then into a peavey tube poweramp. my fav slide is this big heavey chrome guy I picked up somewhere.
