I use acoustic drums for large venues and outdoor gigs. The digital sampling electronic drums I use in the studio and small venues. When using the electronic drums at a gig I place the double 15" speaker with 2 horns 45 degree angle "custom made" directly behind me. The brain controlls the volume so I can go 1db at 3 meters or up to 148 db at 3 meters. I have noticed that the band mates are wanting me to use the electronic drums more and more on stage because I can change the sound of the drums for each song. Be warned on electronic drums; if you play long hard gigs after about 5 years your knees and wrist's will go to hell and the left handed full roll "Buddy Rich style" can not be done on electric's

Crap this posted in the wrong place I need to STFU and just read.
