One of my all time heroes!

Not a bad player of percussion.

(Of course, Richard proved to also be a handy dude to have around in case you needed to build an atomic bomb, figure out quantum electro dynamics, inventing Feynman diagrams, or explaining to NASA (and congress) why space shuttles blow up.)

Very cool, Philby,

That banjo looks like something Bela won off the Devil when he went down to Georgia!

Copeland's Hoedown is a classic piece of music. My favorite version is still Keith Emerson's from Trilogy.

The vibe video was a bit disappointing, however, since Underwood's old lady's playin' from all those Zappa recordings has me spoiled.

Pretty cool guys.
Tony played bongo and conga for us before we got Steve signed up to drum. Now Tony is back on the scene doing back up vocals.
Perhaps we will work the bongos back into the mix someday.

Holy vibrating bitches behind metal bars, Philby!

I found a video of the dear lass, still beatin' out those great flurries of melody! Check her out....

P.S. WAIT A MINIUT! After checking it out again, I happened to notice that Ruth's instrument appears to have wooden bars. Does that make it a "vibra-marimba?" or what? :?
