I think its really unfair to blame a race, any race. The fact remains that the US cannot maintain its borders, it's just too big.

However I do agree that illegals are not only taking work but that this work is often hurried and dealt with badly. There are two causes.

1. The people buying the work don't care.
2. The people employing the people who do the work don't care.

I know about shoddy walls too, since I've done a lot of tile work over the years, but that was and is nothing compared to what I used to do.

Would you be surprised if something like the swine flu was set out on purpose by a government to try and correct their population problems? Especially the elderly and sick who at the most risk. After all mother nature takes care of its own problems. And...

Its another day in Paradise !!!

I don't go to doctors, but if I ever feel the need, I'll go to a natural holistic medicine man. My dad is from a different era, where you go to the doctor when you're sick. Now he's on so many different medications and can't do without them or he'll die. I am healthier now at 54 than he was and I know it's because of all the side effects from these "wonder" drugs that are supposed to make our life so much better.
Herbs are the way!

I absolutely agree! My wife has Lupus, and she is doing better off the drugs than she was when she was on them. My daughter has to have the immunizations due to her insurance. I wish that she didn't have to have them because of what Bob was saying about his son. My daughter has been diagnosed recently with idiopathic epilepsy, and I'm not sure that these f&ck%ng immunizations didn't have anything to do with it! I think Mr Makay said it best: "Drugs are bad, mmmkay?!"

the flu was set by our gov't yes, but this strain is targeted for the 12 - 50 crowd so its not the weak and infirm who are going to croak in numbers

So true Kramar, the first American fatality just occured here in the city I live in, a two year old todler that was brought up from Brownsville down right on the border of Texas and Mexico. This is not a matter of blaming a race it is a nationality this virus originated in a town in mexico that has a pig farm. I live in Texas and have all of my life (native Texan) and damn proud of it! I have lived around and worked shoulder to shoulder with illegal mexicans most of my life. They live 20 to a 1 bedroom apartment eat beans and tortillas and export their earnings to mexico. They have been stealing my job and kept me in the poorhouse all my life. The reason why our government won't control our borders is because our society needs a slave labor force. Hell my neighbors won't even mow there own yards, Why should they do it themself's when they can pay an illegal to do it for $20.00, not me I mow my own frickin lawn. Lets face it, it is our own fault we are the Me society we want it now and we don't want to pay for it we have done it to ourself's. I am all for LEGAL immigration I had a stepmom that immigrated here from Columbia in the 60's with four children she did it the legal way got a job at Nasa and prospered big time, she died in 1975 and she would roll over in her grave if she saw how our country has turned a blind eye and just let all these non assemalating Illegals into our country to drag it down into a third world country. Just like Roosevelt said if you are an American their is nothing else in front of that. IMO there are no Mexican Americans or African Americans YOU ARE AN AMERICAN PERIOD. :x

It's not looking good boys. Although cases everywhere else seem to be mild I'm thinking its only a matter of time before the bad stuff hits folks.

I don't like these levels things everyone seems to be using. If this were me all schools would be closed as of yesterday and border crossings whether in the air, sea or land monitored and those with possible infections turned away.

Right now they, every country appears to be letting it blow around like leaves on the wind.

chippy, this is an excerpt from an article about it:

First, a big hat's off to the global health experts who are doing their best to quash this new bug before it reaches pandemic stages. Second, a big size nine between the slats to the MSM, especially its on-air members, for treating the swine flu with the same even-handedness Orson Welles did the Martian invasion in his "War of the Worlds" radiocast.

As of now, there are less than 100 confirmed cases in the states and two deaths are being investigated. This is bad news. However, since the population of the United States is over 303 million and 36,000 people die from regular influenza annually, there's really no reason for cable news' "the sky is falling" delivery system except for ratings.

Gotta keep things in perspective. The people who matter are addressing it. The people who work for the media are just exploiting it.
