General Music Chat

So, my client Goose got a call from a local music club today saying that Edwin McCain cancelled his show for this Saturday, 04/25/09, and they want him to play if he can. So, I'm going to be playing this Saturday! I'm excited about playing, but I wish that I had a little more time to prepare because I haven't played any of his stuff since we recorded bass in January of this year.

If anyone wants to come who's in the Triad area (and there are a few of you on here...), its at Greene Street Club, downtown Greensboro. See my profile calendar for the address and show time. I'll try to get some pics of the show (as long as either my wife or I remember the camera ) Wish me luck!

This gig fell through. Goose's drummer also owns a studio, and he had a tentative gig with a client that has flaked on him twice before. I guess the guy finally had his session, but it was the night that we were supposed to have the show...

Tough luck! Well, it happens sometimes, doesn't it?!?! You know: SH*T!! The gig for May 4 at Poor House Music Hall in Raleigh is still on. I'll keep this thread going until then and post pics after that gig.
