Yes, lets keep the Rock and Roll musicians under wraps.

Does anyone here smell a NAZI movement goining on?

More moderation is what shut down the fourms on Garage Band and thats a fact. People can say whatever thay want but just keep the F Bomb out for the younger folks. Spam is Spam, so what, its a one button push to delete spam.

Not at all...we're tired of scrolling through the tripe & the spam, the twits posting multiple identical threads to sell cell phones on a music forum. Not to mention the current junk on another forum page in here. Moderation would stop that.

Personally, I applaud any and all that speak their mind.

I don't care if it's filthy or obscene, right or wrong, up or down.

And I do love to come in here and read what people think.. positive, negative or otherwise.

If someone says something you like, tell them so..
If someone says something you do not like, tell them so.
Whoever said that this place would be very boring with everyone all of the same grey mind is correct.

I am without a doubt the least PC person here and I apologize to any I offend, but you should know by now I don't pull any punches. (I'd rather write nothing than have to modify what I think to fit the forum)

Please do continue to do what you do and we in turn will enjoy you as you enjoy us. (just don't take it too seriously)

hey collaborator #1 " could learn here should just stay home and play with theirselves. " THIS SHOULD BE themselves. If you were writing lyrics I would let this one go. We are not doing so ,presently. Just ask crip2nite. he said my lyrics; well to put it gently , s....

ME AND YOU have to stop using all those negative perogatives and used prophylactics ,run on,sentences, corner beads , burned bacon, and not take out the trash a day late, [so it doesnt stink up the whole block over the weekend].

Now me knows this is what yuse got the best intent to do.So me's gonna overlook it this time. Every body else can look out for theirselves... :D

For lack of a better word, everything is good in moderation, including moderation itself. You're extrapolating. I didn't say there needed to be a full-on tightship around here or anything. I simply said there needed to be moderation, because as I see it, there's little to none. Bots, scams, and spam are ignored by the webmasters or whoever runs the forum. If there were moderators whose jobs were JUST to check and make sure none of that was getting posted, then the forums would be much less cluttered and easier to navigate.

I'm a "rock and roll musician" myself, but I know that there is a standard of online etiquette. A lot of people don't, and that's one of the major qualms I have with this community, more likely the only one. No one's asking for the S.S.

Phil brought up a good example of the kinds of issues moderation could easily solve. Further, just having the presence of a staff and a more apparent warning system for breaking basic forum rules would be enough to deter misconduct to a certain degree.

Yeah, I'm assuming that's the webmaster's account. It's pretty apparent that they don't have time or don't pay a whole lot of attention to the forum here. I think someone should. It can't be running rampant if no one's paying for the domain and the website's hosting. The site would go down were that the case.
