I played Cleveland Tenn last night. It went great! I'm tickled with my performance and my crazy gear all performed without a hitch. More updates to come. I play Birmingham tomorrow night!

Screw agt. In the long run the tour you are on will earn you more diehard fans anyway. When are you coming to the Kansas City area?

:D Way to Go!, sounds like things are working out for you. Sorry haven't been able to come and hear you perform yet, been walking through open doors myself here. Recently took a position in a new church in town needing a lead guitarist and worship leader. Since taking this position I haven't had much free time for anything else. I learned today that this position is a traveling one, which was just WoW news to me, it's something I've always dreamt about doing yet wanted to wait on God's leading , and well HE's always on time, anyways perhaps one day I can come hear you perform, until then though keep up the good work and know your in my prayers

Good for you, Neandepaul! Nothing like the feeling of a responsive crowd when out on the road, is there? I would always like playing to a crowd of strangers than a crowd of friends. Your friends will always praise you, even when you have those off nights and know you could have done better, but when strangers love it, you KNOW you did good. :) :D

Time to pick your brain a little bit, Neanderpaul.
Did you line up the tour yourself or go through an agency?
If you did it yourself, any online sites or services that are helpful?
Do you send out contracts beforehand to keep everything on the up and up?
Are you carrying full PA and lights or playing clubs that already have them?
How is the pay? Does it vary with club size?

I'm not looking to get out on the road anytime soon, but these are questions that I would have if I did. I'm sure other Bandmixers may have other eyeopening questions or answers on this. And GOOD LUCK out there, dude!

I did everything myself. Here is how that worked. word of mouth and my youtube vids got me my first gig. It paid so well I was able to pay for the rest of the tour. I don't play bars so the rest of the gigs are coffee shops. I am getting little to no money on the rest of my dates. Just getting little hookups like meals and places to stay. I am hoping to sell my merchandise at the shows as well. I am carrying a full p.a., but no lights. Thanks for the well wishes!
