Howlin', I didn't know you knew how to Bubble. We sure coulda used you for this show. Our Keyboard player couldn't make it. He was in California at a funeral. If we're ever in your neck of the woods, we'll have to get you onstage with us.

You know, the sound-guys at The Cannery are all working musicians. They remind me of a lot of the people here on Bandmix. I had some great conversation with them that night. They are top-notch sound techs (and video techs). They made us sound incredible onstage as well as in the crowd. I just couldn't help but feel like I was talking to Bandmixers in our conversations.

Thanks again for all the positiveness. I should have some video footage for you guys at some point.

Looks like you are having a huge time and I guess in the end doing what you like to do and putting smiles on peoples faces is what its all about.

Thanks JW.. I'm going tomorrow to pick up some video footage of our San Diego show. The pure Aloha stuff is going to take a while. The guy who shot the footage shot the whole festival. I guess he has about 30 hrs to sift through. So it'll take a while for that footage.

But within the next few days, I should have some SD footage for everyone.

You know how it goes man. It's not all fun, but sometimes the shows can be experiences you never forget. I hope we have many more like these. I wish you good luck as well man.

COOL LIGHTING HUH? THERE WERE THESE CANVAS TARPS THAT THEY KEPT LIGHTING UP HANGING FROM THE CEILING. THIS STAGE WAS DONE UP VERY PROFESSIONAL. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, YOU CAN SEE BERT (drummer).

Cool pics, too bad I didn't make it here till the next day, was planning to try and make the show but we played tourist on the way here and the trip took longer than originally expected. Sis and I both hadn't been to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, so we made that stop and a dinosaur museum in Tucumcari, plus a side trip to see her friend in a Tulsa hospital. So we got here the next day, and missed the show.

I put my cell number in the Vegas thread I posted before leaving, check in there and give me a ring, we're in a RV park on Sahara, and doing a lot of running around to see the local sights, will be able to get together any time you have a few minutes and want to grab a coffee or whatever. I'm also looking for some open mic nights around here, would like to play a little while I'm in Vegas. Caught a cold just before leaving Texas so my voice was too rough and passed on one supposed to be Monday night, might try for one Thursday night if it's still going, at Money Plays Lounge on W Flamingo. If you know of any others, drop me a note in the Vegas thread, no sense in hijacking this one...or did I already do that?
