Yeah, Ted. That Victor Wooten is something else. I'm a guitarist and I rented one of his videos and was totally blown away. Maybe you need to get one of those loopers like he used.

honestly I really want to get my hands on a good looper, for right now though I'm just gonna make mp3's burn em to a disk, run the disk through my amp and play a different line over it and then maybe mute my bass and play ghost/dead/mutes and harmonics, lay out a attempt at a drum line

Ted, do you run Windows? There is a free program out there called Kristal (Google it). 16 track mixing with wav edit and all. You could probably figure out how to use it and do all your stuff on your PC.

that sounds nifty as hell, wonder if the commie I call mom would let me get away with installing that, I'll have to ask her, would beat the hell outta lots of mp3 recording and filling that stupid thing up stuff like this is why I love this site instead of just surfing myspace and craigslist aimlessly for musicians

I'd vouch for Kristal too. There is a good community and lots of support too. If you use the product they like to hear what you have done with it too which is great stuff.
