We used marbles to great effect when I was young.
My wrist rocket had an attachment that you could shoot arrows with as well. That was FUN!

A couple of days ago a guy messed up and tried to rob an AA meeting. One of the patrons pulled his legal concealed weapon and shot him 3 times killing him. And recently a pizza guy shot and killed a kid trying to rob him. They think robbing someone is easy until they wind up dead. Hooray for concealed weapons permits. I think that might even cover wrist rockets.

yah, robbing individuals....or former drunks bad idea, robbing convienence stores bad idea, cookie monster has the right idea, he'll roll some girl scouts for cookies, and sell big bird to kfc, and set up elmo to get killed for his pelt, now I think the best way to rob people is run for office and I'd consider myself to be a liberal too

Whew! I started reading this thread a while back and couldnt make it thru the whole thing.. and still had to skip some of the more lengthy posts, (eyes getting bleary) but I just wanted to subscibe, to keep up to date on political issues (which I'm not very good at.) I have a loaded 12 ga shotgun with 00 buckshot sitting in the corner. I probably need to buy more ammo. -in case the world gets worse.. We may be in for a huge global economic melt-down. After-all, we're just a tiny blue marble spinning somewhere in space..

Z well you might better start buying more ammo, and looking into hoarding stuff for 5 years of living and getting a place set up that is RAD proof (radiation for you brainers who aren't paranoid) and invest in some materials to make explosives, I personally can't do much more then wait for it all to go down and scream I told you so to my family and friends who take the world for what they are told it is. I love that picture really puts things in perspective, and should dispel the belief that we are the only hunk of rock out there that has what we call sentient life, I mean read some sci fi about galactic living, you'll get an idea that there has to be multiple ways for life to be "advanced and intelligent" otherwise this would just be a mammoth waste of space.

Thinking God would create such an enormous universe and only put life on Earth is like buy a million acre ranch and only putting one horse on it.

I am with You Ratsass! I personally do not believe there is life other than our own in the universe.
Yet as a Christian I would not put any limitations on the power and wonder of Gods creation as far as possability.
And for those who would thing alien life forms would somehow disprove God. Our solar system is but a speck. Perhaps it is even a sub-atomic particle from one atom of a totally different dimension.
How can we assume we can prove or disprove anything?
