General Music Chat

Craigslist and music stores, and just go to clubs or venues that have music like you want to play in and get to know the people playing there. Any live music events ask the soundman, they are ussually a musician themselves or know people looking for people.

A couple of years ago I made up some simple business cards on my computor that just said I played guitar and was looking for any kind of work. I gave out a couple of hundred of these and still get calls all the time from them.

I type this every time someone asked about responses. If you want to be part of the live music scene get out from behind your keyboard and go whereever live music is being played and make yourself known.
